2012 MEME: Something Has Exploded On The Farside Of The Sun!
by admin on Dec.06, 2009, under Latest News
With all the hoopla revolving around the year 2012, the Mayan Calendar and fears about coronal mass ejections (CMEs) from the Sun, comes the following video of a massive explosion on the farside of the Sun yesterday, December 4th. The video shows a billion-ton coronal mass ejection billowed over the Sun’s western limb. According to official reports, the blast site could be one of two farside active regions currently under surveillance by NASA’s STEREO spacecraft. It is hoped that more will be revealed soon as the Sun’s rotation turns towards the spacecraft and Earth.
It is believed by several researchers that a similar solar storm could send waves of solar winds towards planet Earth that would reverse and ruin our magnetic field and power grid instantly, resulting in catastrophic consequences of immense earthquakes, shifting continents, and devastating tidal waves. Ultimately, triggering a global apocalypse and killing billions in the process. It is also believed that the next peak of an 11-year solar activity cycle will be in 2012 and this is expected to produce increase sunspots and solar flares. The Sun’s magnetism is expected to reach a crucial and critical point, where its surface will be subjected to immense storms liberating enormous electro-magnetic forces with strength enough to send gigantic particle waves to Earth with the potential to have a real destructive effect on the Van Allen belts, overcharging the magnetic field, and disrupting our satellite and radio communications with lethal falling particles.
Whether real or imagined, this surely warrants close monitoring.

That is very terrifying news! Just when it was starting to look like 2012 was going to be the dawn of the age of enlightenment, instead of doomsday. I will hope for the former, instead of the latter!
