5-Year-old draws UFOs after sighting
by admin on Feb.02, 2010, under Latest News, Paranormal & Unexplained stories
A Kansas parent is wondering if their 5-year-ancient’s comments about “a round plane with bolts” and subsequent drawing could be an actual UFO sighting, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The January 25 event occurred as the parent was driving their child home from school. The child made the comment about something she saw in the sky, but the parent, who was driving, was unable to view the object.
Two days later, the parent questioned the child to make drawings of what she saw.
The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be clarified as something natural or man-made.
KS, January 25, 2010 – kid says round plane with bolts. MUFON Case # 21680.
I was driving my daughter home from school. She says to me look daddy, a round plane with bolts!
I really did not look because I was driving.
When we got home I started asking her questions. It was over a house and slowly moving south she pointed out to me.
What is really more bizarre to me is at age 5 I too saw my first UFO.
That was the first time my daughter even mentioned or talked about UFO. Two days later I questioned her to draw me a picture of it. I was so amazed by this.
I said draw me another.
Nearly a copy of the first one. I am so surprised because like I said never before did she ever know about UFO. See my girls pictures attached.

DISCLOSURE MEME: George Filer – ET Reality, Disclosure Is Imminent!
by admin on Jan.01, 2010, under Latest News
In Filer’s UFO Files #1, the first for the year 2010, the Eastern Regional Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), George Filer continues his examination of the exopolitical movements towards disclosure. In this report, Filer places strong emphasis on President Barack Obama’s new Declassification Executive Order issued on December 29 as a key pointer towards the revelation and full disclosure of the extraterrestrial presence.
Here are excerpts from his article:
Apparently the official announcement by the Obama administration disclosing the reality of extraterrestrial life is being delayed or scrapped as other events are more vital. It appears senior administration officials feel the announcement could have a detrimental effect on the president’s popularity at a critical time. The safest method of announcing extraterrestrial life is to have a group of nations, scientists, or world leaders announce the news together. The United Nations meetings held during February 12-14, 2008, behind closed doors with thirty nations secretly agreed on a new openness policy on UFOs and extraterrestrial life in 2009. The openness policy was implemented but never publicly announced. Announcements have been made that water and the building blocks of life have been found on both the Moon and Mars. New images from Mars and the Moon show structures and the likelihood of life on distance planets has been openly discussed. UFOs continue to appear around the world in increasing numbers with improve images available to the public. The Nobel Peace Prize was an vital step in giving global legitimacy to President Obama on December 10, 2009 in Oslo, Norway; and there were hints he was going to a startling disclosure announcement but this did not occur. The supposition that not all ET visitors are friendly may have stopped the announcement and led to a new declassification executive order.
President Obama declared on December 29, 2009, in an executive order that “no information may remain classified indefinitely” as part of a sweeping overhaul of the executive branch’s system for protecting classified national security information. We assume this includes UFO documentation. He also established a new National Declassification Center at the National Archives to speed the process of declassifying historical documents by centralizing their review. He set a four-year deadline for processing a 400-million-page backlog of such records. A presidential memorandum was sent stating: “Agency heads shall complete on a periodic basis a comprehensive review of the agency’s classification guidance, particularly classification guides, to ensure the guidance reflects current circumstances and to identify classified information that no longer requires protection and can be declassified. - Filer’s Files #01 – 2009, National UFO Center.

DISCLOSURE: George Filer – Vatican Acknowledges ET Presence! UPDATED: Bill Ryan on UFO/ET Disclosure, Life on Mars & Boriska!
by admin on Nov.28, 2009, under Latest News
In Filer’s UFO Files #48, the Eastern Regional Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), George Filer examines the Vatican’s acknowledgment of the extraterrestrial presence during its Astrobiology Study Week on the detection and implications of extraterrestrial life.
Here are excerpts from his article:
Vatican Acknowledges ET Presence with Astrobiology StudyVATICAN CITY – A weeklong conference on Vatican grounds with respected scientists was convened by the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences, chaired by its religious leader Bishop Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo, from 6 to 10 November 2009 concerning Astrobiology the study of life’s relationship to the rest of the cosmos. The scientists discussed the detection and implications of extraterrestrial life.
A major driving force behind the conference was the Director of the Vatican Observatory, the Jesuit priest Father Jose Gabriel Funes. In May 2008, Funes gave
an interview to the Vatican’s L’Osservatore Romano newspaper saying that, “the existence of intelligent extraterrestrials posed no problems to Catholic theology”. ‘Just as a multiplicity of creatures exists on Earth, so there could be other beings, also intelligent, made by God,’ says Father Jose Funes, a Jesuit astronomer at the Vatican Observatory. Together with Funes’ 2008 interview and subsequent public comments by him, the conference demonstrates a welcome openness by the Vatican on the possibility and implications of extraterrestrial life. The Vatican also worked with President Reagan to bring the down fall of Soviet Communism and is working to open the discussion on extraterrestrial life and UFOs in our skies. The Vatican is playing a leading role in preparing the world for extraterrestrial disclosure. The Vatican Library is full of UFO case histories from reliable members and priests. The Bible states, “In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth. God made two fantastic lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light to the earth. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image”. Genesis 1 This belief is often in conflict with modern Science so the study week had an ambitious agenda: to bring together leading scientists in diverse fields, to share the latest results of their own research. The Vatican program was organized into eight sessions:
Session 1, on The Origin of Life, concerned the hard problem of the mechanisms by which molecules became organized in such a way as to permit life to start. Life as we know it on Earth is built on a structure of proteins and nucleic acid polymers which carry the information to build the proteins from their constituent amino acids. While complex, life is a very specific and selective organic chemistry: out of the broad range of possible organic acids that abiotic systems
can produce, life utilizes just a handful; likewise, life largely utilizes just left-handed amino acids and right handed sugars.
Session 2, Habitability Through Time, concerns water on Earth’s surface when the Sun was so faint suggests that our atmosphere must have provided a much stronger greenhouse effect than, and been quite different from, that of today. Episodes of severe glaciations in the geologic record suggest that from time to time the atmospheric ‘thermostat’ failed. How life – even at the molecular level – and the environment have interacted over geologic time is the subject of Session 3, Environment and Genomes. Molecular signatures of the biochemical reactions sustaining life remain in the geologic record, giving us hints of the changes over vast periods of time. Lessons from life forms that live in extreme environments, such as submarine vents and the Earth’s driest deserts, aid the interpretation of this record. The relatively sudden appearance of animal life late in the Earth’s history remains a mystery whose solution might be found in both the environment of the time and the workings of the genome. Earth seems to be unique in our solar system in terms of its abundant life, and yet we cannot be sure that life is not present on Mars or elsewhere in the solar system.
Session 4, Detecting Life Elsewhere, explores the prospects and techniques for finding life elsewhere in the solar system. Whether or not life exists elsewhere within our own solar system, the vast Milky Way Galaxy of which we are a part contains over 100 billion stars. If planets are a common feature of such stars, might life be as well? Session 5, Search Strategies for Extrasolar Planets clarifies the various techniques used to find planets around other stars and determine their properties. Already, about 380 Extrasolar planets are known, and the number of stars searched suggests that at least 10% of stars similar in properties to our own Sun have at least one planet. Session 6, Formation of Extrasolar Planets, details progress in understanding how planets form as a part of the process of the formation of stars. Two outstanding questions are what determines when a rocky planet like the Earth will form versus a gas giant like Jupiter, and is the process of planet formation materially different around stars much smaller than our Sun.
Finally, Session 7, Properties of Extrasolar Planets, brings to bear computer modeling, astronomical data and a bit of speculation on the question of the properties of extrasolar planets, and distances from their parent stars. Ultimately, much of the fascination of astrobiology comes from the question of whether sentient life forms exist on other worlds, and whether forms of life alien to our own in fact coexist with us – today – on our own home world. Session 8, Intelligence Elsewhere and Shadow Life, explores both these issues. The search for intelligent life elsewhere is being conducted by listening to the cosmos with radio telescopes in an effort to pick up a signal of inarguably artificial origin. A search for life with biochemistry different from that of all the known life on Earth – what has been termed ‘shadow life’ – on our own planet is a fascinating possibility but one fraught with daunting difficulties. Astrobiology is an effort to use a diverse range of scientific techniques, focused on targets from the molecules in cells to the vast cosmos around us, to provide a deeper appreciation of humankind’s place in the cosmos. It is a recognition of the remarkable intricacies of all that is within and around us. Dr. Paul Davies shown here, who spoke at the conference is a theoretical cosmologist and astrobiologist at Arizona State University stated, “Alternative forms of life might be happily co-habiting with us on Earth. If life does
form readily under Earth-like conditions, shouldn’t it have formed many times over, right here on our home planet?” “If we find that life has happened in the solar system twice, from scratch, if we can be sure of that, then it’s going to have happened all around the universe,” Davis said. “The universe is going to be teeming with life, and there’s a very excellent chance that we are not alone.” We can speculate that other civilizations may exist under the sea or inside the Earth and have chosen not to reveal themselves. Often Christianity and science appear to have an adversarial relationship but perhaps we are looking at the same objects and giving them different names based on our backgrounds. The pope and some of the worlds’ top astronomers believe the two need not be in conflict. “How can we exclude that life has developed elsewhere?” questioned Vatican astronomer Father Jose Gabriel Funes. He expressed the view that there could be alien intelligences elsewhere in space. “This is not in contrast with our faith,” he stated, “because we can’t place limits on God’s creative freedom.” Fumes’ musings had a clear theological flavor. “Some aliens could even be free from original sin,” he opined. “The Bible is not a scientific textbook.” (This is a excellent thing, since science textbooks change every year. And if God made everything, then He made the Laws on which we base science, and, being all-knowing, His Word would be accurate on every subject it touches, including science).
The Vatican astronomer’s comments about the possible existence of extraterrestrial life are the inevitable outcomes of allowing man’s word preeminence over God’s Word, instead of using the Bible as our starting point with which to interpret the universe. With a recent poll finding that just 4 in 10 Americans believe in evolution, one might be tempted to question who’s more antiscience: the Vatican or the average American? Scientists (many of them nonbelievers) offered presentations on subjects as varied as how life might have begun on Earth; what newly found “extremophile” microbes living in harsh places on our planet tell us possible life could be on other planets; and how life forms might be detected in our solar system, or how their bio-signatures might be found on and around the many distant exoplanets. - Filer’s Files #48 – 2009, National UFO Center.
Read more HERE and explore Filer’s analysis of the Vatican’s movement towards disclosure. He also reports on a new map that shows that the density of valley networks on Mars reveals that
the planet once had a large ocean body. With pictures and illustrations, Filer provides details of the latest UFO sightings in America including the California boomerang, the 50 lights in V formation over Colorado, the Florida lights, the Louisiana vapor trail, the Massachusetts triangle aerial object, the weird lights over Missouri, the New Jersey and New York UFO objects, the Ohio cylinder, the Oregon rods photograph, the South Carolina cylinder, the Pennsylvania flying cylinder, the Tennessee photograph and the Texas sightings. Also included are several worldwide sightings from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Mexico, the UK, and Scotland, as well. Filer ends with a look at the mutation of the Swine Flu (H1N1) virus in the Ukraine and Europe.
UPDATE: Bill Ryan of Project Camelot on UFO/ET Disclosure
Several weeks ago, Bill Ryan of Project Camelot revealed that discussions were underway to reveal the existence of the extraterrestrial presence on November 27 or by the end of the year. This was based on the testimony of Dr. Pete Peterson. Today, in a news release from Project Camelot, Ryan sheds further light on this:
Many people have questioned us for our current view of the information provided to David Wilcock and ourselves in June by Dr Pete Peterson that “time had been booked with the networks” for an announcement about Disclosure by Obama tomorrow – 27 November. We’re not holding our breath: there’s no immediate sign of this, and we doubt that this will happen. Dr Peterson himself stated as an immediate caveat that it was just a plot, and that plans often change. Our recent marathon audio interview with Clay and Shawn Pickering (alongside the most fascinating July Barcelona panel discussion on Disclosure, which Camelot hosted) offers insight into the many problems of the subject. And as a note of interest, we were told recently by an insider source that a speech had been written for Bill Clinton – in his first term – as a Disclosure announcement. But of course, that never saw the light of day. We don’t know why it was canceled.
Recent events, but, suggest a steady build-up to an announcement of something, sometime. Two weeks ago the Vatican held a conference on extraterrestrial life (we loved the ‘ET phone Rome’ headline). NASA has now stated that there’s water on the moon. And there have been more interviews by Larry King on UFOs this year then ever before. Like everyone else, we’re watching and waiting for the announcement to be made: whether it’s this year, next year, or in 2012, it has to come sometime. The world’s as ready as it ever will be.
UPDATE: Life On Planet Mars
The question of whether mankind is alone in the universe maybe settled soon, if you follow the news emanating from several online science news outlets, who are reporting today on the possible existence of life on the Red Planet:
Scientists have learned compelling new evidence that life has existed on Mars and was brought to Earth in an ancient meteorite. State-of-the-art instruments and techniques reveal that tiny fossils in the rock found in Antarctica are microscopic aliens and not produced by other effects. The meteorite found in the Antarctic’s deep freeze is called Allan Hills 84001. – Scientific American
NASA scientists working on a meteorite learned in 1984 have found “strong evidence of Martian life,” sources told the Spaceflight Now website. It is believed that a comet or asteroid hit Mars and diverted the rock off the planet’s surface, before it crashed in Antarctica 13,000 years ago. In 1996 NASA found what looked like tiny fossils in the meteorite and said they were traces of Martian organisms… Now the NASA team has claimed that new evidence strengthens the case for life, reports say. Dr Dennis Bazylinski reviewed the findings for the journal of theGeochemical Society and the Meteoritic Society. He told Spaceflight Now: “One indication there was life on ancient Mars are these particular magnetite crystals in the meteorite that look like they came out of magnetic bacteria.” Emily Baldwin, deputy editor of the UK’s Astronomy Now magazine, told Sky News Online: “If the features in the meteorite do turn out to have an extra-terrestrial biological origin then that’s pretty exciting stuff in terms of understanding how life is distributed across the solar system.” The findings are expected to be officially released by NASA in the next few days. – Sky News.
Compelling new data that chemical and fossil evidence of ancient microbial life on Mars was carried to Earth in a Martian meteorite is being elevated to a higher plane by the same NASA team which made the initial discovery 13 years ago. Sources tell Spaceflight Now that the new data are providing a powerful new case for the Allen Hills Meteorite to have carried strong evidence of Martian life to Earth — evidence that is increasingly standing up to scrutiny as new analytical tools areused to examine the specimen. The latest findings are the product of new research using more advanced High Resolution Electron Microscopy than was in existence when the initial findings were made and announced by NASA and the White House in 1996. – Spaceflight Now.
Covault said the new work centers on what is called magnetic bacteria that on Earth, and Mars as well, leave distinctively-shaped remnants in the rock. These features test with a high chemical purity more like a biological feature than geological. – Universe Today.

DISCLOSURE: Announcement From Obama & the Pope Is Imminent!?
by admin on Nov.12, 2009, under Latest News
In the latest installment of his weekly compilation Filer’s Files #46, the Eastern Regional Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), George Filer reveals extremely vital information and commentary regarding the disclosure of the extraterrestrial presence by examining the release of the White House list of visitors and various exopolitical movements worldwide.
Here is an excerpt from his article:
Obama Opens White House to Advisors Who Want UFOs RevealedThe White House has released a list of visitors. Topping the list is Andy Stern president of the Service Employees International with 22 visits. Second on the list is John Podesta with 17 visits who has supported efforts from the UFO research community to pressure the United States government to release files to the public that could bring light on the simmering allegations of conspiracies and cover-up of
the issue. At a 2002 news conference, Podesta stated, “It is time for the government to declassify records that are more than 25 years ancient and to provide scientists with data that will help in determining the real nature of this phenomenon”.
Obama may now choose to join in with the Vatican and other world leaders such as France’s Nicolas Sarkozy to announce extraterrestrial presence. David Cameron the Conservative leader in the UK said he “was convinced” the Earth had been visited by aliens and has vowed to publish any secret files that may exist on UFOs if he becomes Prime Minister”. The Washington Post announced today, “The Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences is holding its first major conference on astrobiology, the new science that seeks to find extraterrestrial life in the universe and to know how life started on Earth.
In The United Kingdom, newly released files reveal that Lord Hill-Norton a former head of the Armed Forces wrote to the defence secretary urging him to “demonstrate a more serious concern” over the Bentwaters UFO sighting. Files previously released by the Ministry of Defence tell that Lord Hill-Norton a five-star Admiral and the former Head of the British Ministry of Defence was kept in the dark about the UFO subject during his official capacities. In a small interview with James Fox, the late Admiral emphatically stated that, “The UFO subject has fantastic significance and should no longer be denied and kept secret; there is a serious possibility that we are being visited — and have been visited for many years — by people from outer space, from other civilizations; that it behooves us to find out who they are, where they come from, and what they want.” This should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation.” – Filer’s Files #46 – 2009, National UFO Center.

Mufon Launches Study Of UFO Abduction Experience
by admin on Oct.21, 2009, under Paranormal & Unexplained stories, UFO phenomenon
The woman describes floating through her bedroom wall, as if levitating into a beam of blue light. She recollects only parts of her experience later while under hypnosis: being brought onto a small ship by small gray beings. One of the intruders appears to direct the team of abductors. Once led onto the craft, a taller being leads an examination where intricate procedures are performed. Nearby, she senses a female being who uses gestures to comfort her. She sees no other humans present. To many, that tale may be a familiar one in the realm of the human-extraterrestrial encounter. But delving into the nuances and minutiae across cases is where some believe real discoveries may be made. One large research project in the U.S. today attempts to get at the particulars of the alien abduction phenomenon and to unravel, if possible, any alien agendas. The Abduction Transcription Project, sponsored by the Mutual UFO Network, or MUFON, is perhaps the most comprehensive and ambitious research study to date in the field of alien abductions. Dan Wright, MUFON member and board member, launched the project in 1992 with the goal to uncover commonalities in alien abductions. When people scattered across the country refer to a small being in terms of the same physical characteristics, garment and a certain musty smell, one must pay attention, says Wright, project director of the Abduction Transcription Project. Or if a tall being is wearing a black wetsuit-type garment, is he wearing a belt? If so, does the belt have a black box on it? Such levels of detail are required to start to grasp more fully and even, perhaps, start to make sense of the phenomenon. Descriptions of an entity may include height, skin tone, garment type and garment color. That entity’s behavior may be described as caring, manipulative, threatening or humorous. Entity Behavior and Entity Communication, for example, are among the 53 general categories Wright tracks. The project uses verbatim transcripts from the abductee’s or subject’s actual descriptions, which are fed into Wright’s database to glean over 2,000 words and phrases used as descriptors. These descriptors are then classified into the general categories or what Wright calls root factors. Topics here include references to the subject’s description of entity appearance, a ship’s outward appearance, interior layout, paranormal elements and post-event effects. The Abduction Transcription Project is a private study which relies on transcripts of audiocassette-recorded sessions from some 19 of the U.S.’s leading abduction researchers, many of whom are psychology professionals, licensed or registered hypnotherapists, doctors, scientists and engineers. The project’s contributors have included: Ann Druffel, Richard Haines, Richard Hall, David Jacobs and the late Karla Turner. Many contributors are testing their own abduction hypotheses. By not publicizing certain hypotheses, researchers continue to test their thoughts separately and attempt to make sense of the seemingly random or anomalous abduction data. At present, the Abduction Transcription database consists of 254 cases, incorporating over 700 sessions between researchers and subjects, primarily in dialogue from regressive hypnosis sessions, and some interviews with the subject in a fully conscious state. While each researcher may use different methods and procedures, Wright says the typical case may stretch beyond 100 pages of data. Some researchers, such as David Jacobs, may just do one interview session with a subject, while others, such as Richard Haines, often question the same question three different ways to determine the validity of an answer. Regressive hypnosis is not an exact science. But, because of the nature of abductions where much of the experience may not be easily or consciously recalled, it remains one of the best tools available. Cognitive interviewing is another recognized technique where the subject is questioned questions. As Wright admits, there is a level of contamination associated with any research project; but, the project helps to overcome that by using a multitude of skilled, independent sources. Wright is in the unique position to draw conclusions or make detailed observations from the data, uncovering both commonalities and anomalies or what he calls odd factors. One example is a finding that the fantastic majority of abductees don’t report seeing any railings within the spaceship or tour area. But Wright found several cases where rail guards were reported and within these cases research has found commonalities such as the types of beings found on these ships. From his analysis of the case data, Wright is in a position to make fascinating observations about alleged alien entities, their behavior and how they work. One thing is clear from the data: there appear to be a number of different types or groups of entities with varying abilities and significant evolutional differences. For example, some aliens may simply place their hand on the subject’s forehead to induce loss of consciousness or memory, while others administer a liquid syrup as anesthetic. Fascinatingly, Wright says it is clear most entity groups use small grays for performing the actual abduction. An away team of small white, gray or blue beings abduct the subject from the home or auto, but usually have no other observed function, says Wright. Additional entities aboard the ship likewise seem to have more narrowly defined duties. Taller beings are often contained within the ship and nearly always appear to hold the most authority. One taller being usually doesn’t leave the ship. He is often referred to as a doctor; but he’s clearly in charge, says Wright. Assistants to the doctor may be small or tall, but usually tend to be taller. Less appears to be known about the taller beings who stay on the ship, and certainly the media and abduction tales tend to focus on the small grays. Depending on the type of being, technological advancements and perceived missions may vary widely. In the majority of cases, abductions are made via a beam of light used for levitation, as a way to get the subject into the ship, whether from the home or by being led outside to walk into a beam. Beams are often white or bluish white. Odd factors among light beams appear in several cases where subjects describe dust flecks or particles within the beam. The particles tell me that this is probably a completely separate mechanism for levitation, says Wright. Or, in a smaller number of cases, the subject physically walks onto the ship without observing light beams. Wright has found few predictable patterns or broad commonalities across the database of abductions. But, in addition to the generalizations made here, Wright has been able to make some other findings. While a large number of abductions involve small craft with a single round room, a significant number involve larger ships with numerous rooms, each for a particular purpose and separated by hallways. The majority of cases are solo abductions, where the subject sees no other humans or human-like beings. Interactions with or sighting of other humans and humanoids by the subject have occurred in one-third of the cases. Distinct commonalities exist across numerous cases such as details of a hybrid’s appearance or humanoid’s uniform, or an immense cave to which the subject is led. Paranormal activity is somewhat common to abduction events, primarily in auditory form, such as unexplained footsteps or crashing noises heard in the abductee’s home. Odd factors include subjects looking down and seeing four long fingers, but being unable to find a mirror to look at themselves. There are also instances where subjects are seemingly lured by animals, such as a deer or owl, which are soon recognized as alien. The notion of an animal is what is first plugged into their mind, says Wright. Mental telepathy or thought transference is often described. Information is conveyed to the subject in an instant from the entity. The aliens also have some mysterious ways at getting subjects to forget all or parts of an abduction experience, apparently achieved by manipulating the subject’s concept of time. In many cases, the beings use telepathy both for general communication and to communicate to the subject the need to forget the experience, rather than any spoken post-hypnotic suggestion. In a few cases, the being places his hand or fingers on the subject’s forehead, seemingly to erase memory of the event. Most subjects are unable to recall the entire event, but the fantastic majority remember some of the onboard experience. Some don’t recall getting there or coming back; they just remember a few minutes on the examining table, says Wright. Of the proverbial alien agenda’, Wright stresses that groups of beings, each with varying levels of abilities, skill sets and technologies, often communicate disparate missions to the subject. Contrary to belief that all abductees are traumatized, probed or otherwise harassed, Wright says reproduction is only one of several themes which dominate the cases, and a case may have more than one theme. The major underlying themes are: Some 19 cases involve underground caves and in a few of these the subject has observed military working alongside entities, often sitting at computer equipment. Separately, only two cases involve underground facilities where the room appears manmade and not a cave. Men In Black’, despite the popularity of the mysterious government agent image, are a thing of the past, says Wright. They don’t appear in his database. But, straight military intelligence or other type of agents do appear, often to intimidate the subject as guys in fatigues, says Wright. Wright stresses that while the ongoing study uses quantitative analysis techniques, at this point the data isn’t statistically reliable or projectable because of the low sample numbers. But, patterns and odd factors found will over time, it is hoped, help to unravel the giant mystery of the abduction phenomenon. To that end, Wright says, The ongoing objective of the project is to provide quality data to participants and other UFO researchers with a legitimate interest. As to any grand purpose for abductions, Wright says, I believe we are a progeny of one or more of these groups of beings, that we are in effect their genetic cousins. That is why they travel fantastic distances of space and time to get here. Wright and many others, such as the late Carl Sagan, have argued that abductions beg the question of why aliens would care to come to our star system toward the edge of this galaxy to interact with humans, who, by all accounts, are not at their level of intelligence or evolution? One salient answer comes back to Wright’s suggested rationale: we are connected at a fundamental level with these beings going back to our evolutional beginnings. Wright plans to continue the project indefinitely. Of the denial of the abduction phenomenon by many today, he says, over time, the fantastic numbers getting plugged into my computer are going to wash away all the criticism.BEAM ME UP, SCOTTY
